If you’re not buzzing about the NFL’s 100th season and the sure-to-be-epic opening game, are you even a football fan?

For a century, A CENTURY  (just to be clear – that’s 100 years) the NFL has been bringing millions of people together over one common passion, the love of this game. From that one shared affection has grown fierce competition, entire communities of fans and foes, unmatched rivalries, thrilling entertainment, and let’s be honest – a real good excuse to eat and drink, which in turn gives us a job. So, oh hey Partypal food trays, thanks for being so awesome and convenient and absolutely perfect for our loud, proud, grub chowin’, beer drinkin’ FOOTBALL FANS!

The Packers and the Bears are set to showdown in an epic opening battle between the NFL’s oldest and most ferocious rivalry, and we don’t know about you, but we’re preparing. We’re planning where we will be watching, what we will be eating and drinking, we’re chirping and trash-talking, and we will be ready, as a matter of fact, we were born ready!

Wondering if you’re missing anything in your quest to be gameday ready? Let’s assume you’ll be tailgating (like us) and give you a right proper checklist of must-haves for the showdown on September 5th when the Chicago Bears will host the Green Bay Packers in what’s sure to be every single thing you’d expect from the opening game of the NFL’s 100th and 2019 season.

  • Depending on where you’re watching from, of course, you might wanna pack that team poncho, it is September after all.
  • Now that you’re dressed for success, you’re going to need meat. You’re not tailgating if you’re not grilling. Any and all meat works, tailgaters aren’t picky – chicken, hotdogs, burgers- if it’s grilled, it’s good. Don’t forget the bbq sauce. Whatever you do, do not forget the sauce.
  • Watermelon, baked potatoes and corn on the cob. Weird combo? No, that combo is THE combo, a tailgating staple, a classic! And if you didn’t know, now you know. You’re welcome.
  • Team colors. Team colored treats, team colored cups, team colored food trays, team colored hair, team colored cutlery, team colored blankets, umbrellas, and chairs. You get the point.
  • Beer. No explanation necessary.
  •  Partypal food trays (in your team’s color, obviously). If you don’t have these, you don’t know what you’re missing. These food trays are magic, they allow you to hold your food (all that food), drink, and cutlery in one hand leaving you with one free hand for…well, whatever the heck you want that hand for. May we suggest cheering, high-fiving, and of course friendly handshakes for your opposing team’s fans after they get slaughtered on the field?

Now get outta here and have some fun. Happy and safe tailgating, friends, gonna be one heck of a season!
