Fourth of July Go-To Party Guide

In just a few short weeks, over 79% of Americans will be celebrating Independence Day. The Fourth of July gatherings may very well collectively be the largest cookout on Earth! At Arron Kelly, we are always looking for ways to help our customers celebrate whatever needs celebrating, so we have taken a moment to lend a hand to our neighbours with this handy recipe guide, complete with juicy Brew House Chillers style burgers, cold beers, and refreshing cocktails!

First and foremost, the July sun is hot and we want you comfortably cool, so get your favourite beer and keep it crisp with Brew House Chillers. Whether it’s for you, the world’s coolest dad, or the world’s coolest husband, we have a customized Brew House Beer Chiller for brew lovers!
Cold refreshment in hand, now you’re ready for food prep!

No cookout is complete without a big, juicy hamburger. Here’s what you will need to prepare and serve 6 mouth-watering burgers:
   • 1 ½ lbs lean ground beef
•¼ cup crushed bread crumbs
•1 cup of maple style bbq sauce (½ cup for mixing, ½ cup for grilling)
•1 egg, beaten
•1 yellow onion, diced
•1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Serve & Dress
   •     6 sesame seed buns
•6 slices of aged cheddar
•½ lbs of maple bacon, cooked
•1 small bunch of green leaf lettuce, torn
•1 red onion, sliced
•1 large tomato, thinly sliced
•Condiments
•6 Party Pal Food Tray (available in a red, white, and blue 3-pack)
Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir until completely blended. Separate into 6 portions and form into patties.
Grill patties, apply the remaining bbq sauce on the last flip, and add cheese. For deliciously toasted buns, place face down directly on your grill on low heat for 1 minute. Don’t leave your guests awkwardly juggling their meal and drink while trying to mingle, be sure to have Party Pal Food Trays on hand, your friends will thank you. Not only are these trays made in the USA, but our 3-pack comes in red, white, and blue for a patriotic touch.

Offering craft cocktails at a large party can be a challenge, with so many ingredients to have on hand and so much prep work to do so that you don’t spend your entire day tending to the demand. Why not choose just one fresh, perfectly mixed cocktail to offer your guests? We love Mojitos and think your friends will too, so here’s a recipe using fresh herbs that promises to take your BB-Q party to the next level.

The Shaken Mint Mojito
(makes 4 cocktails)
•1 scoop of ice, cubed
•6 oz white rum
•12 sprigs of fresh mint, loosely chopped using your Brew House Chillers Bar Scissors
•7 tbsp of fresh lime juice
•3 tbsp coarse sugar
•Club soda (have lots on hand, these are going to be a guest favorite)
•1 lime, quartered
Shake it up! Load up your beverage shaker with ice, and then add your white rum, 8 chopped mint sprigs, lime juice and finally, the sugar. Shake, shake, shake, and then shake some more!
Now divide your blend between 4 glasses over ice, and top off with that bubbly club soda. Garnish each masterpiece with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint. Don’t worry, you’ll be making so many Mojitos, you’ll have this memorized soon!

Cheers, Happy Fourth of July!
Please enjoy drinks responsibly and always have a safe ride home!
